Fifth Dish:
Native Chicken Inasal
MY VERDICT about their food:
Tanok'z Chicken Inasal (Pecho Part without drinks Php 105)
Size: Just half a size compared to Mang Inasal's Pecho Part.
Flavor: The natural umami of the chicken that was left is only about 20-30%, slightly smoky flavor of 15-25%, saltiness of around 30% at most (well seasoned).
Texture and doneness: Dry and overdone, chicken has lost almost 99% of moisture (basically dried out already). Which results to a mellow chickeny flavor. It is like almost eating a flavored paper. 😅

But their "free" SOUP does the magic creating a synergistic effect and balance using a light creamy corn soup and a mellow chickeny flavour (chicken inasal) mend together in your tongue. It's just amazing if you eat them both interchangeably. Although that corn soup were just made using a ready mix powder/mixture to be dissolved in warm to hot water.
Note:
Don't you ever dare use their in-house TANOK'S SAUCE/Vinaigrette which is widely available on every table just before you arrived. It's a combination of distilled vinegar, soy sauce and white sugar. It DOESN'T really compliment their Chicken Inasal. Even if you add chillies and calamansi to recreate the taste, but the boldness of its sweetness really shines thru. Not a good complimentary dipping sauce.

Just create your own sauce instead if you would loved to! 👍😉
But if you like sweet base dipping sauce. I would highly recommend trying their in-house vinaigrette.

Banana Split:
Php 65 (For me LACK'S IMPACT!)The Banana is quite good, but the Ube Ice Cream and Chocolate Sauce is of poor quality resulting to a poor flavor combination.
»Ube Ice Cream: Lacking some impact of having a STRONG and Pure flavor of ube. Too far from the best quality ube ice cream in the market.
»Chocolate Sauce: Also lacking some depth of chocolatey flavor. Very light in the sense that it's not noticeably chocolately when it comes to taste. You'll only know its chocolate because of its color and very slight chocolatey flavor.

Either way, its a good restaurant to recommend. They have a good customer service. Just dont know if the chickens they were serving was always freshly cooked though. 😝😅
Of course! You will not find an extra ordinary dish with only having lesser than a 150pesos for its price range. I just expected too much. That's all. Hahaha 😂
