Located at South Osmeña St. General Santos City (in front of DTI).
This Food District had already made name few months ago, welcoming both locals and tourists alike to have a taste of this gourmet one stop - food stop for them to enjoy. They opened just last year December 8, 2017. They cater a lot of food varieties and cuisines to choose from and to name a few, there are: Filipino Cuisine, such as, ADOBO HUT stall which I liked the authenticity of their Filipino dishes that concentrates about "adobo". Second is CAVEMAN stall (I can tell it's an American Cuisine based on their flavor profile and choices in their menu) in which I found really appetizing, because of their slow cooked barbecued pork and beef ribs that was partnered with lightly thickened sauce that goes perfectly with their prized cuts of meats, and lastly the GO-KU stall, which focuses on Chinese streetfood and I truly find myself relating with all their dishes (not to mention I study every detail their dish was up to), and to check it's authenticity? It is by far, for me, 3 out of 5. But, this is just an amazing stall and would highly recommend this for you guys to explore and enjoy.
To know more about these food reviews. I will soon give you the rundown of each dishes by details.
At my first visit in this food pub, of course, we are inarguably in pursuit with good flavours and we will be going particularly eating gastronomic and good food only. Enough of those food that has no spirit or passion that was put into the dish nor lacking impact as a whole. 😈😂
A bowl of rice topped with slices of Pork Char Siu
drizzled with honey-soy glaze with a sweet chili oil dipping sauce
Finally after searching for food from first to third floors. An alluring aroma brought me to this Chinese Stall named GO-KU located at second floor. A friendly and enthusiastic character welcomed me from the Cook and happened to be the owner as well. He then suggested what was their best seller, the "CHAR SIU" (HONEY GLAZED).
♨Fun Fact:
"Char siu (Chinese: 叉燒; Cantonese Yale: chāsīu) is a popular way to flavor and prepare barbecued pork in Cantonese cuisine. It is classified as a type of siu mei (燒味), Cantonese roasted meat".
After the long minutes of waiting. It was then serve. Not piping hot, because it was cooked several hours to cook the meat to infused its flavors and to tenderized at the same time. No need for reheating. What makes it hot is the rice and their Chili Oil with a free beef soup (warm). 😆😜
JUDGEMENT TIME! 😆😋😜😈
The Pork Meat is fork tender and the fat has become gelatinous in texture with its savory-sweet sauce and a fainting but superbly balance used of spices ("FIVE SPICE" - and any other Chinese condiments and spices that made more alive and made it more authentic) that was infused to, which comes in thru aroma. Very enticing!
I also love the raw flavor of white sesame seeds which gives a vibrant earthy flavor.
Their Rice were also cooked perfectly!
Their Homemade Chili Oil were just a little spicy for me, and it also has secondary flavors from sweet soy underneath.
Their free Beef Soup were also seasoned just fine. Light and slightly sweet. I also like the addition of spring onions just to add accent.
I might say, this dish is Phenomenal. Because the Cook is capable of using such spice to elevate the meat's flavor in perfect harmony.
Note:
This is my personal overview. Flavors are always there. But it's always depends on who eats it and how they welcome foreign flavors and how well their palate was trained.

I have this principle in life borrowed from Japanese saying: Ichi-go ichi-e
(Japanese: 一期一会, lit. "one time, one meeting)
...or "one chance in a lifetime”
- that every experience happens only once, and should be savored and enjoyed.
