The BEST Tasting Shawarma in town! (Food Guide/Review)

Twelfth Dish:
Turks' Shawarma

While the City has a lot of food options, the Turks delicious Shawarma Wrap located in Gaisano Mall Gensan has already set foot onto General's (local inhabitants of the City) offering the best, the tastiest Pita Doner to date from Manila and was established since 2007 by Gem Zenarosa with his wife Angel, and has now become the fastest growing food business today.

In my deepest hunger that almost makes me unconscious and went completely blank, alongside all the things I had done just before I arrived to try this food experience; with all these summer heat and the drastic time pressure timelines that rushes through.

Finally the cold air brushes through my body when I entered the Mall refreshes my soul and went straight ahead to where that stall/mini restaurant is at.

When I finally arrived at my destination, looked at their menu and ordered their self-proclaimed the best tasting shawarma for only Php 60. πŸ‘πŸ˜ƒ

With excitement I closely observed the person who's accepting and in charged of each order, with dexterity everything just went smooth as he were arranging each fillings with either savoury pieces of beef or chicken of your choice, to be followed by slivers of white onions, deseeded cucumber and tomatoes then drizzled with cheese sauce, mayonnaise and, or with spicy sauce (if desired) then finished by wrapping the pita bread to enclosed all that's in there.

Chicken (left) and Beef (right)

All of which makes me shiver with excitement taking pictures at the same time so you too could clearly visualize everything as it should.

When I took my Shawarma and find a place to sit on; which made me even more thrilled to plunge into this gorgeous piece of mediterranean flavours.

With these having said, let's take a closer understanding by which they call this "THE BEST and TASTIEST Shawarma" franchise around the archipelago.

Judgment Time: πŸ˜ˆπŸ˜‹
»This has a very enticing aroma with a slightly oniony fragrance and savory undertone.

»Beef are all so tender with light to medium chewiness, perfectly seasoned, savory, slightly creamy with a touch of vibrant fresh cucumber, tomatoes and white onions, alongside its spicy after bite. Very tasty and gorgeously arranged like a beautiful love song that has great accompaniment of musical instruments which giveth forth a splendid harmony.

Totally remarkable! This is for me the very best shawarma I've ever had so far.

»Pita Bread has body of medium chewiness with starchy fragrance, thus having a subtle hint of sweetness. Decadent! Perfectly resonates the whole entity by itself which leads me to the thought that I could eat this bread alone with or without any fillings or side dishes.

This is truly irresistible! I just can't helped it; the smile on my face won't easily fade away. A type of feeling that was surely an outcome of pure satisfaction. With gratitude I almost lost my focus onto making these detailed critic and made me realized I was already enjoying this entire moment.

Amazingly delicious!

Note:
As little as this order made a great impact and satisfied my hunger for both of my stomach and my palate. Furthermore, I haven't find any downside on this type of meal. Everything were playing their role as a whole and further heighten my experience and satisfaction.

Native Chicken BBQ (Food Review) - Delicious!

Eighth Dish: Native Chicken BBQ Hey guys! I was amazed about this new food hub in Gensan called FOOD TRIP PLAZA . Being here makes me drool, but not just that, I felt truly intimidated because of its wide array of stunning and gorgeous dishes; I just can't simply make a decision from what or which is to order for the past 30-45mins. I just roamed around and asked few stalls regarding their dishes. First off, I asked the TALABA STATION which offers a good varieties of seafoods and shellfishes, but sad to say, as I was craving for their fresh oysters they actually ran out of supply that their next fresh delivery from Iloilo were scheduled 6-7pm during that time I went there, beacause I arrived passed 4pm already and in my hunger I took a stroll and observe some stalls and if I find their dishes welcoming nor appetizing. While having this commotion in me, nonetheless of the choices that were made flat on their table counters; I felt like in restraint to eat or make ...

Native Chicken Inasal and Banana Split (Food Review)

Fifth Dish: Native Chicken Inasal I tried eating at TANOK'Z Chicken Hauz at SM Gensan (located at ground floor), because they are serving "only" a free range chicken or NATIVE CHICKEN which they were known for. This is my first time eating here and this is my experience. MY VERDICT about their food: Tanok'z Chicken Inasal (Pecho Part without drinks  Php 105 ) Size: Just half a size compared to Mang Inasal's Pecho Part. Flavor: The natural umami of the chicken that was left is only about 20-30%, slightly smoky flavor of 15-25%, saltiness of around 30% at most (well seasoned). Texture and doneness: Dry and overdone, chicken has lost almost 99% of moisture (basically dried out already). Which results to a mellow chickeny flavor. It is like almost eating a flavored paper. πŸ˜… But their "free" SOUP does the magic creating a synergistic effect and balance using a light creamy corn soup and a mellow chickeny flavour (chicken inasal) mend t...

Pad Thai, a stir fried noodle dish (Food Guide + Full Review)

Fifteenth Dish: Pad Thai (Stir fried rice noodles) After this long day to finish my errands, I just love to treat myself and my plan was to search for good quality Pork Sisig then went to FOOD TRIP PLAZA then later arrived at around 4:33 pm, since that Turks' Shawarma wasn't good enough to keep me going. When I reach out onto some stalls, I haven't found any that sure has got some calibre to call this as their specialty; I just nod to few of them who offers this type of dish which is for me a "so-so sisig" (not the best and also not the kind of which that I've been looking for that has some thickener which uses either pork brain, chicken liver, mayonnaise or a combination of which), they are perhaps serving it the classical way. Some of which that I've asked was a cheerful girl staff from YUBABA , typically there are two sisig choices in their menu the "Sizzling Pork Sisig" with two different price range but of the same name -- t...
